There's a progression in my feelings as I redesign the website. It's hard going at first as I struggle to relearn css and figure out how to make that nice little curve on the corners. But I'm nothing if not persistent. I go through it methodically. By the time I have the basics, I can really focus on layout and design. I enjoy this part the most. There's something very satisfying about changing a single tag or element and changing the whole appearance of the page. That's the part I'm in right now. After that is the tedium of changing up 301 pages. I'm careful through. I back up the directory often, often, often. All it takes is a single boo-boo when I'm replacing text across all documents to ruin my day.

I love it though. It satisfies my love of the search, love of the logical, and love of elegance and beauty. The perfect thing to keep me busy during a snowstorm.
